Description of the conference:
The day was conducted by Valentina Zerini from Unicef Italia. Improving the quality of school environment and developing anti-discrimination practices is meant to address the fact that “Education also strongly affects the capacity and motivation of to enjoy their political rights and actively participate in society” (EACEA Report “Youth Exclusion and Lessons from Youth Work”). Valentina Zerini highlights the needs of acquiring the intellectual tools and information necessary to and political processes and be aware of young people rights. Teachers will develop a better capacity to help and guide their students along the process to consider themselves as bearers of multicultural and non-discrimination values and practices toward an inclusive society.
