Associated Partners

As a result of the exploitation activity a number of associated partners officially joined the project in order to contribute to the improvement of the project impact on their target groups and to ensure the project sustainability by continuing using the project deliverables in the next years.

The associate partners of the OFF-Book project are organizations interested in promoting the application of theatrical approach at school.  All associated partners share the project objectives and are willing to contribute to their achievement.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
The Fondazione Polo Universitario Grossetano represents a fundamental presidium in the territory for the training of young people and adults with regard to university education and higher education. The University Center of Grosseto was established as a consortium company in 1998, thanks to the Municipality of Grosseto and the University of Siena, with the adhesion of the major Institutions and the most representative local organisations and firms. In 2017, the Consortium Company became a Participatory Foundation with 66 members of various kinds. The fundamental statutory purpose is to promote, in the territory of Grosseto, the realization of university training activities, ie degree courses, but also master courses, advanced training and specialization, training and further training for professional categories, following the historical relationship with the University of Siena, and, in agreement with the same, opening up to other possibilities, both in training and research. There are five degree courses in synchronous distance learning, namely: Economics and Commerce, Economics and Banking, Political Science in various sectors: International Studies, Government and Administration, Political History, Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage, with different learning paths: Archeology, History and documentation, History of art, Entertainment, Nursing. A good communication campaign has brought the result that to date about 280 students, also coming from realities outside the district, attend degree courses in Grosseto. Over the years, the Foundation has carried out an important research activity both in the Ecological area with the Lagoon Ecology Laboratory located in Orbetello and the Archaeological area within the Laboratories linked to the Degree Course in Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage.
HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS
The Fondazione Polo Universitario Grossetano will contribute to the project by disseminating OFF Book aims, content and IOs at its members, covering a wide range of associations/institutions/firms in Grosseto District. Moreover the Fondazione will apply OFF Book methods and results whenever they can give an added value to its educational and training activities
